To learn more, below are some short write ups from two of our EF Chairs:
Pathogenesis and management of severe drug reactions
In this Expert Forum session, 8 dermatologists, experts of SCARs coming from 7 countries, will shortly explore topical burning questions about pathophysiology and management of SCARs. For DRESS, there will be three interventions : prevention of the disease by genetic analysis, role of viral reactivation in the pathogenesis, and severity scores of the disease. For SJS-TEN, experts will speak about case definition, early diagnostic criteria, hopes to reduce mortality, management of sequelae, and differential diagnosis between SJS-TEN and other bullous dermatoses induced by checkpoint inhibitors. The session will give plenty time to questions to experts and discussions from the audience.
