Role and Functions
- DSS shall establish a committee called The World Congress of Dermatology National Organising Committee (NOC) for the purpose of coordinating the organisation of the WCD.
- NOC shall consist of the President and Secretary-General of the WCD (who shall each be appointed by the ILDS) and such other members as shall be appointed by the Organiser
- NOC is responsible for implementing the plans for the programme outlined by the WCD Scientific Programme Committee
- NOC submits to the ILDS Board, at each of the meetings of the ILDS Board before the date of the WCD, a progress report in respect of the organisation of the WCD; and submits to the Executive Committee of the ILDS a quarterly report setting out, in such detail as the Executive Committee of the ILDS Board reasonably requires, details of the progress made in the organisation of the WCD, and of any key decisions taken and any risks associated with the organisation of the WCD
- NOC consults with the Scientific Programme Committee and the ILDS Board in connection with the organisation of the Social Programme of the WCD, and in connection with all editorial and financial aspects of the WCD.
